Equipment supplied to businesses and households across Liverpool, Moorebank, Casula, Prestons, Warwick Farm and the south west. Selected by working investigators and sold with the compliance position explained, not buried in a disclaimer.
Liverpool sits in the middle of Sydney’s warehousing and logistics corridor, and most of what we supply into the area is bought by businesses rather than households.
Stock shrinkage is the recurring one. Product going missing from a warehouse or a storeroom, losses confined to one area, and overt cameras that moved the problem rather than solving it. After hours access to yards and depots is the second. Container and trailer tracking is the third, usually from operators who have lost track of which yard an asset ended up in.
On the residential side, it is mostly property security for homes that have been targeted before.
You can monitor your workplace. You generally cannot do it quietly, and this is where Liverpool businesses create expensive problems for themselves.
The Workplace Surveillance Act 2005 requires written notice to employees before camera, computer or tracking surveillance begins, ordinarily fourteen days, along with a policy setting out what is monitored. Camera surveillance also needs signage at the entrance and cameras that are visible.
Surveillance conducted without that notice is covert surveillance, and covert workplace surveillance requires authority from a magistrate under Part 4 of the Act. It is not something an employer can simply decide to do.
Bathrooms and change rooms are prohibited outright, notified or not.
The practical upshot is that notified monitoring is easy to put in place and usually achieves what the business wanted anyway, because behaviour changes the moment staff know the system is watched. Covert monitoring is a legal project, not a hardware purchase. We supply a notification template with business deployments and recommend your employment lawyer reviews it.
If you have a specific suspicion of theft or fraud by an employee, the right first call is an investigator rather than a camera supplier. Evidence gathered outside the lawful pathway tends to be inadmissible and can turn a theft matter into an unfair dismissal claim against you. We hold a New South Wales Master Licence and handle these engagements properly. Call before you install anything.
